The Vintage Machine team treats every garment as a legitimate archive piece. Below, you’ll find the operational blueprint—logistics, rates, and protocols—designed to safeguard the integrity of our curated selection.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide using premium logistics partners (DHL, GLS, UPS) to ensure speed, security, and traceability.

Rates & Timelines Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and cart value. Below are the base rates:

Important Information

  • Handling & Care: Every item is strictly inspected and packed using protective materials. Fragile or high-value archive pieces undergo a mandatory Double-Check before leaving the Studio.
  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via an automated email from orders@vintagemachine.co the moment the parcel departs our facility.
  • Optional Insurance: At checkout, you can choose to insure your parcel for its full value for a € 10,00 surcharge. This option is strongly recommended for high-value orders.
  • Customs & Duties (Non-EU): For shipments outside the European Union, import duties or taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer. Vintage Machine is not liable for delays caused by customs clearance procedures.

Return Policy

Given the unique and historical nature of our inventory, our policy is strictly designed to preserve the integrity of the archive. We do not offer automatic monetary refunds.

However, we understand that fit can vary. Therefore, returns are accepted in exchange for Store Credit.

Return Procedure

  1. Initiation: Email support@vintagemachine.co within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Details: Your email must include the Order Number and the reason for the request.
  3. Approval: Our team evaluates requests on a case-by-case basis. If approved, you will receive specific shipping instructions.
  4. Dispatch: You have 14 days to return the garment to our Studio.

Condition Grade & Integrity: To be accepted, the item must return in its exact departure condition:

  • It must be unwashed, unworn, and unaltered.
  • All Vintage Machine tags must remain intact and attached.

Warning: If you purchase a Deadstock/Mint item with original vintage tags and remove them, the return will be rejected as the collectible value has been irreversibly compromised. 

We do not accept returns on underwear or socks.

Refund Processing & Timelines: Refunds (issued as Store Credit, or monetary, only in cases of severe verified defects) are processed exclusively after the return has reached our Studio and passed Quality Control.

  • Inspection: Upon delivery, the parcel is inspected by our team to verify the integrity.
  • Timing: If the return is compliant, the Store Credit or Refund is issued within 5–10 business days of receipt.
  • Confirmation: You will receive an automated confirmation email once the procedure is complete.

Note: Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility. We do not issue refunds before physically receiving and inspecting the garments.
